One-of-a-kind gingerbread house events helps give back

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – It’s all about getting into the holiday spirit, but it’s also all about giving back to a deserving cause. Gingerbread Enchantment helps benefit Meals On Wheels of Albuquerque.

Guests can choose to build a gingerbread house, buy a house or do both.

Gingerbread Enchantment Chair, Linda Lyle, and Meals on Wheels Executive Director, Shauna Frost, joined KRQE’s This Morning team to talk about the event. Watch above.

Whether guests choose to build a house or just purchase one, they can participate in an auction, delicious food and entertainment suitable for all ages. Santa Claus will also be making a special appearance.

Those looking to build a gingerbread house can win prizes in different categories including pre-baked kits.
