Judge: Portion of Officer Webster’s lapel video to be released

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A judge has ruled that a portion of the lapel footage from the night Albuquerque Officer Daniel Webster was shot can be released.

The lapel video is just part of some of the video that will be unsealed November 14th. The other video that will also be available is security video from the Walgreen’s, Davon Lymon’s interview and video from the police helicopter.

The judge’s announcement comes just after murder charges were formally filed against Davon Lymon. Lymon is the man police say gunned down Officer Webster after Lymon was pulled over by Officer Webster because the plates did not match the motorcycle Lymon was on.

Lymon was just convicted on a federal charge for having that gun the night of the murder and faces up to 10 years for it.
