ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Humans and their furry friends flocked to Balloon Fiesta Park Sunday morning for the Doggie Dash and Dawdle.

The 34th annual run and walk welcomed two-legged and four-legged friends alike to help raise money for homeless pets in New Mexico.

Organizers say more than 4,000 people and 2,000 dogs came out for the party.

One hundred percent of the proceeds go to Animal Humane of New Mexico.
