Albuquerque senior center honors veterans

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Another Albuquerque senior center is honoring veterans for their heroism and sacrifice.

A wall was dedicated Thursday at the Palo Duro Senior Center proudly displaying each vet’s photo and story of service. The city says its proud to honor them and a great accomplishment to see each center honor their senior veterans.

“We all have stories some people cannot associate with, so its rewarding, its very rewarding; it’s very rewarding to be amongst brothers,”

In total, there are six senior centers and two multi-generational centers around the city to have these veteran walls.
