John’s Wednesday Afternoon Forecast

Showers return to New Mexico...

forecast

A cold front is working it’s way through eastern New Mexico today. Expect a few scattered showers, particularly across the southeast, through the day. As the cold front pushes into Albuquerque tonight, the winds will pick up, gusting to 50 mph. A Wind Advisory has been issued for the Rio Grande Valley from 9:00pm tonight through noon Thursday.

The storm system to the west will drop down and churn over Arizona Thursday and Friday. This will allow for scattered showers across much of the state through at least early Saturday. One model has the storm exiting Saturday, while another keeps it here until Sunday. This storm system will also help keep temperatures near average through the weekend.
