Albuquerque police respond to calls of woman on rooftop


ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Police Department says officers were dispatched to the 2900 block of Monte Vista Blvd. NE around 4:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, in reference to a woman who was on a rooftop.

Officer say the woman was on the roof and refused to come down. After about two and a half hours, police say they were able to talk the woman into climbing down.

The woman was then treated by rescue. Police say it’s unknown if she suffers from any type of mental illness or was using drugs.
