ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – If your kids would like to get rid of some of that candy in exchange for cash an Albuquerque dentist is making it easy.

On Tuesday, Albuquerque dentist Byron Wall will give kids $1 a pound for their candy.

All the candy collected will be sent to Blue Star Mothers. The organization will then send the candy along with clothes and meals to troops overseas.

The candy will be collected Tuesday from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.
