Albuquerque house gets haunting reputation for Halloween décor

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A house in the Heights is well-known for its spooky decorations and it brings in a lot of visitors this time of year.

The house sits on Eubank and Juan Tabo. It has a very haunting reputation.

Come October, the Albuquerque home transforms into a festive Halloween house.

Homeowners Lesley and Kevin Worrell start prepping the ghoulish details as early as June.

Over the years, they have collected a lot of decorations. Kevin even had to make special accommodations for them.

“I built a shed just to house ‘em all,” explained Kevin.

Most years, the home’s garage is even turned into a haunted house.

They usually do the haunted house each year, using it as a food drive to donate to the Road Runner Food Bank. They say next year it will be bigger and better. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
