Chris’ Saturday Night Forecast

The warm stretch of weather will continue for the final days of October.   An area of high pressure continues to dominate our weather and it is keeping New Mexico dry & unseasonably warm!   High temperatures will once again be 10°-20° warmer than normal for Sunday and Halloween.  Some weather systems staying to our north will kick up the wind in northern New Mexico on Sunday with strong winds across the northern half of the state on Monday.

A weather disturbance will finally bring back rain chances and more seasonable temperatures by the end of the upcoming week.   At this point, the weather system looks to be a warm one so most of New Mexico will see showers in the form of rain with the chance for thunderstorms too.   Temperatures will fall back into the 50s, 60s and 70s for most of the state.   Even with this drop in temperatures, provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
