Alleged drunk driver arrested, crashes with 2-year-old in car

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE)– A man is facing felony charges after Albuquerque Police say he caused a drunken crash that left his two year old badly hurt.

Andrew Lonasee is accused of child abuse.

Friday just before noon, police say he handled a left turn badly and slammed into a tree on Ladera near Unser.

Police say his 2-year-old was not in a booster seat and was thrown from his seat.

Officers found empty bottles of booze in the car and arrested Lonasee.
