In The Home: Winterize and more with Jericho Nursery

winterize in the fall

We all have the holidays on our minds, but now is the perfect time to plant trees, prep your winter flower garden and winterize your yard. Carmelina went out to Jericho Nursery to learn more.

Owner of Jericho Nursery, Rick Hobson reminds us, “Pansies bloom all winter long.”

For the best results in your garden, pansies, trees and shrubs should be planted in the fall. He also helps us understand the nitrogen content listed on a bag of winterizing fertilizer and which plants actually need fertilizer in the Fall.

Don’t forget, you do still need to water your yard when it is warm outside.

For all your gardening needs, Jericho Nursery is located on Osuna just west of I-25.
