Police in Hobbs investigating death of a man found in a home

HOBBS, N.M. (AP) – Police in Hobbs say they are investigating the death of a man found in a home.

They say officers were on patrol about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday when they were directed to a residence in reference to an unresponsive subject.

Upon arrival, police say they discovered 32-year-old Thomas May unresponsive.

Emergency responders attempted life-saving measures, but they were unsuccessful due to the extent of May’s injuries.

Details of the man’s injuries weren’t immediately released.

Detective and crime scene technicians are currently processing the scene and police say it’s an active investigation.
