Kristen’s Wednesday Morning Forecast

High pressure in control...

WEDNESDAY: A chilly start to the day with morning temperatures in the 30s, 40s and 50s under a clear sky. Nothing but sunshine is expected to cover the state this afternoon – helping afternoon highs top seasonal averages. Expect temperatures to warm into the mid- to upper 70s across the Rio Grande Valley.

THURSDAY: Even warmer! High pressure building in from the south will mean another full day of sunshine and dry conditions. High temperatures will climb into the 60s, 70s and 80s statewide.

FRIDAY: A weak disturbance crossing the state will pull in a bit more cloud cover but little in the way of rain (if any at all). Expect a mix of sun and clouds and warm temperatures across the region.

WEEKEND: We’ll finish off October with dry conditions and above average temperatures. Most of us can expect afternoon highs in the 60s, 70s and 80s under a mostly sunny sky both Saturday and Sunday. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
