SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – Santa Fe police have arrested a suspected drug dealer they say they’ve been after for months.

The Santa Fe Police Department says 38-year-old Lori McQuarie has been the target of a meth-trafficking investigation for the past six months.

McQuarie was taken into custody Monday after police say they searched her home and found meth bagged for sale, marijuana and drug paraphernalia at her home near Pinon Elementary School.

Detectives also say there was a booby-trap set up at the home that could have seriously hurt someone.

McQuarie is now facing drug trafficking charges. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
