Showers are quickly wrapping up across the state as drier air works in. Some cloud cover will persist across the east this afternoon, but skies will continue to clear across the west as drier air works in. Skies in the east will eventually clear out late today and tonight.
A ridge of high pressure builds in for the rest of the week. This will mean more sunshine and warm temperatures. Afternoon highs will be 10° – 15° above average. It looks like temperatures will remain above average through the end of the month.
Long range models still point to a storm getting closer to the state toward the middle of next week. This will give us a better shot at a few showers and help bring our temperatures back down to near average.
