ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE)- The Lobo men’s soccer team remains unbeaten at home this season, but didn’t walk away with the result they wanted.

Saturday’s game with Marshall ended in a double overtime 2-2 tie. The University of New Mexico is now 7-6-1 overall on the season and 1-3-1 in Conference USA play.

This tie marks the teams third straight overtime game, and this tie also keeps Marshall and UNM tied in the conference standings.

UNM returns to action on Wednesday, as they travel to UAB in another Conference match up. There are just three games left in the regular season, so the Lobos need to make up some ground if they have NCAA tournament hopes.
