2 Albuquerque men tied to many high profile burglary cases arrested

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Two men tied to a number of high profile cases are behind bars.

The Albuquerque Police Department arrested Reymundo Lucero and Daniel Sandoval. Both men are accused of participating in a burglary where a great dane was shot and killed.

Police say Lucero is also the suspect seen in this lapel video at a home near Ventana Ranch while officers were investigating burglaries in the neighborhood and found him rifling through a truck.

He told them he needed to go inside to get his ID, while officers waited he then escaped out the back of the house.

Saturday in court he wanted the judge to give him a break, but the judge didn’t go for it.

Lucero remains behind bars on a quarter million dollar bond.

As for Sandoval, he’s booked and held with three separate bonds.
