Temperatures will be warming up back to above normal highs today and into the weekend. An area of high pressure is building over the state and this high will keep New Mexico dry and warm through the weekend. High temperatures will be 10°-15° above average for this time of the year over the next few days. By Monday, shower chances return to parts of central and western New Mexico. Moisture will be drawn in from the south and southwest. This will help spark some showers to begin the week. Right now, the rain doesn’t look as if it will be widespread or heavy, but the chance for a few showers will be there to begin the week. The middle of next week once again looks dry and warm.
