ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE)- There were three games in the metro area on Thursday night. It was a battle to get out of the 1 and 1 district record spot for La Cueva and Sandia.  Manzano is running away with District 2 Class 6A at the moment.

La Cueva went on to defeat Sandia 22-0. The Bears are now 2-1 in District play.

In District 4, there were two matchups and Judge Chaves’s Valley Vikings received their second win on the season defeating Rio Grande 54 to nothing.

Atrisco Heritage defeated Highland 48-12 on the Hornets homecoming night.
