Helping Hands: Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

strides against breast cancer

This weekend is a time to raise awareness, celebrate survivors and raise money to support the American Cancer Society.

From the American Cancer Society, Community Manager Jessica Duncan joined New Mexico Living to talk about their staple fundraiser ‘Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk.’

The five mile walk begins at 7:30 a.m. on the north side of Cotton Wood Mall and is open to teams and individuals. When you get to the mall, Jessica’s suggestion is to just, “Look for the sea of pink.”

Money raised goes toward research and patient service programs.

Registration is available on-line or the day of the event.
