Automotive Expert offers tips to winterize vehicles

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – With the winter months approaching, it’s important to make sure your vehicles are ready for the change, says one local automotive center.

Christian Brothers Automotive, an automotive service and repair shop, offers tips on how to make sure vehicles are prepared for the cold months ahead.

Automotive Expert, Tim Johnson, joined KRQE’s This Morning team to discuss how easy it is to winterize your vehicle. Watch above.

Johnson suggests checking your car battery, tire pressure and the windshield wipers to prevent any damages. One helpful tip is using cooking oil spray and spraying around your door to help keep it from sticking.
