Fire in northwest Albuquerque leaves one displaced

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Fire Department responded to a fire at a home in northwest Albuquerque Sunday.

The fire was reported around 8 p.m. at a home on Cutler near 6th and Menaul.

Fire crews say they arrived to find smoke coming from the basement and were able to contain it before it could spread.

No one was hurt, but one person was displaced.
