John’s Friday Evening Forecast

Nice weekend ahead...

If you have outdoor plans for the weekend, have at it! There will be plenty of sunshine to go around for the entire state, with relatively light winds and warm temperatures. Afternoon highs will be 10° – 20° above average for this time of the year. Albuquerque will reach the low 80s, while parts of the south will touch 90°.

Next week will start sunny and warm, but a cold front will move in by the middle of next week. This front will pack some of the coolest air we’ve seen so far this season. Afternoon highs will drop as much as 15° – 30° from the start of the week to the end. As the front pushes into the state, a few spot showers will be possible late Wednesday and Thursday, mainly across the east. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
