4 arrested after police spot stolen car near Coors, I-40

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Detectives are investigating after four people were arrested near Coors and I-40 Friday morning.

Albuquerque police say an officers set up a perimeter after a stolen vehicle was spotted parked at a home at 54th Street and Illiff. Police say the perimeter was set up because the suspect in the stolen vehicle case was considered armed and dangerous.

Officers were able to detain four suspects without incident, including one who attempted to run out the back of the house.

Police say detectives are conducting interviews, and that the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office is taking the lead in the investigation.
