Cleveland looks to return to victory column facing Cibola

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Cleveland Storm went to a place they haven’t been in nearly two seasons last week. They suffered a defeat at the hands of top ranked Rio Rancho.

The Storm took the field Thursday night against the Cibola Cougars, looking to pick up a victory in District 1 six-A.

After a sluggish first quarter, the Storm erupted for 21 points in the second quarter. The Storm was able to close out Cibola and win 35-14. Both teams are now 1-1 in district play.
