Upcoming festival celebrates diversity

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – An upcoming festival is ready to help the community celebrate diversity.

The Southwest Arts Group is presenting the Festival of Nations Celebration of Diversity. 

Currently, 14 countries are being represented which include U.S., France, Japan, the Philippines, Mexico, Austria, Italy, Germany, Ireland and Spain. The group is looking for at least 20 more countries to represent in ways of performances, food, vendors and more.

Groups and individuals who would like to participate pay no fee, but the deadline to enter is Saturday, October 13.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and entertainment starts at 7 p.m. 

This is a 21 and older event. Tickets are $10.
