John’s Wednesday Afternoon Forecast

Midweek cool down...

A cold front is pushing into the northeastern corner of the state this afternoon. Temperatures in Union, Harding, and Quay counties have already dropped by as much as 30° compared to yesterday. The front will continue to usher in cloud cover across the east with a few spot showers possible, especially southeast, later tonight. A modest canyon wind will develop tonight in Albuquerque, with gusts up to 25 mph.

Most of the state will be cooler Thursday under mostly sunny skies. Temperatures rebound quickly Friday as a westerly flow takes over. The quiet weather continues for the weekend. It will be a nice weekend to be outdoors with temperatures 5° – 10° above average, lots of sunshine, and relatively light winds! provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
