SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – A festival celebrating independent filmmakers will last five days and five nights.
Close to 100 films will be shown at the 8th Annual Santa Fe Independent Film Festival. The festival advances independent and cutting edge cinema to the diverse community in New Mexico’s capitol.
Executive Director, Jaques Paisner, and the Festival Director, Liesette Paisner, joined KRQE’s This Morning team to discuss the event. Watch above.
The films being screened come from across the globe and from home grown writers, directors and producers.
Wednesday, October 19th kicks off the festival and it will last all the way until Sunday, October 23.
Opening night will be held at the Violet Crown Cinema before closing out at the Jean Cocteau Cinema.
