On The Big Screen: Santa Fe Independent Film Festival

Santa Fe Independent Film Festival

The Santa Fe Independent Film Festival is ready to kick off five days of progressive, cutting-edge independent cinema to the inclusive and diverse community of Santa Fe.

The films being screened come from around the globe, as well as from homegrown writers, directors and producers, illustrating the thriving movie business within the land of enchantment.

Jacques Paisner and Gary Farmer joined New Mexico Living to talk about the film festival happening October 19th through the 23th, which will include many local films.

“I think that’s what the festival is really about. Is trying to bring voices and stories that you very seldom see in the public media or commercial media,” explains Farmer.

Screenings start on Wednesday and include over a hundred films and events.
