Kristen’s Monday Morning Forecast

Quiet stretch ahead...

MONDAY: A quiet start to the week with morning temperatures in the 40s, 50s and 60s under a mostly clear sky. Afternoon highs will be warmer than what was felt over the weekend – expect 60s, 70s and 80s to stretch from stateline to stateline. A few spot showers will attempt to fire over the higher terrain, however, coverage will be very limited. Majority of the state can expect a full sky of sunshine and dry conditions.

TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY: The quiet stretch continues with nothing but sunshine in our midweek forecast. Afternoon temperatures will climb above average nearly statewide with highs topping out near 80° in Albuquerque Tuesday afternoon.

THURSDAY: A quick snag in the forecast as an approaching cold front looks to bring back the chance for gusty winds and spotty storms late week. Expect winds to pick up across the ABQ-metro area while the Eastern Plains look to be favored for the best shot at rain. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
