Interactive tour shows what life is like in impoverished countries

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE)– An interactive tour is offering a glimpse of what life is like for people in impoverished countries.

It’s called the Compassion Experience and it’s put on by the group Compassion International.

Visitors immerse themselves into the lives of children living in poverty by listening to stories from real children in an interactive space.

Organizers say they hope this project will bring sponsors to help support these children and ultimately give them a better life.

Monday is the last day to check out the free event at the Coronado Center. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
