Showers and storms will continue to move across New Mexico until late this evening. A weather system continues to move through the region and this is triggering the scattered storms today, which some of them have been severe in parts of Socorro and Sierra Counties this afternoon. New Mexico will be left with some clouds and cool temperatures overnight once the storms fizzle out. Drier air moves in for Monday, this dry air will help boost our temperatures back above average for this time of the year. Temps will be closing in on 80° by Tuesday. Another cold front will then roll into eastern New Mexico by Thursday. This front will drop temperatures for the end of the week and it could spark some showers across the Central Mountain Chain on Thursday.
