AFD investigating two Albuquerque house fires

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Fire Department is investigating two house fires.

The first started around 6 p.m. Saturday night. Fire crews quickly responded to a home near Lomas and Tramway. They quickly put out the fire and they said it appears the fireplace caught the attic on fire. They said no one was hurt.

The second started near Paradise and Universe overnight. Crews quickly put out the fire. There was minimal damage and no injuries.
