Wednesday High School Soccer

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE)- District play is well underway in New Mexico high school soccer. On Wednesday, there were multiple games in the metro. In District 2 class 6 A Sandia hosted Manzano. This one would be slow at the start, but finish with some fireworks.

The Matadors better to 9-2-2 on the season as they defeated Manzano 5-0.

In district 4 class 6 A, Valley played host to Highland and this one was a battle all the way through. The Vikings would come out victorious after finding the net in the first half and keeping the Hornets scoreless the rest of the way through. 1-0 Valley gets the victory, now 9-3-1 overall on the season. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
