Police release photos to help solve West Mesa murders

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque police have released photos they hope can help solve the West Mesa murder case.

The images are grainy but police want people to take a good look at two women.

Detectives say they could have information regarding the deaths of the eleven women and fetus found buried near 118th Street and Dennis Chavez seven years ago.

The photos of the women were taken from a video that belonged to a person of interest in the West Mesa case.

As we’ve reported, Lorenzo Montoya strangled a young prostitute in his home and then was shot and killed by her boyfriend.
