After a cold start a quiet weather day is on tap Wednesday. Highs will top out in the mid-70s in the Albuquerque area with mainly light breezes. A trough will scrape the northern portion of the state by Thursday and Friday driving a cold front from east to west into New Mexico. This front unlocked temperatures down by 10°+ degrees and fire up some gusty winds. There will be an increasing chance of showers by the weekend.
