ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Detectives are asking for any tips to help solve the murder of a teen who was gunned down in the South Valley just days before her high school graduation.
Aliyah Garcia, 18, was with friends back in May when witnesses say they heard at least 16-gunshots. Garcia was hit and rushed to the hospital, where she died.
Deputies believe she was not the intended target. So far, they have no suspects.
There’s a $500 reward for any information that leads to an arrest.
