More than 100 new jobs popping up around Sandoval County


ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – New jobs are popping up around Sandoval County.

On Monday, officials including the Mayors of Rio Rancho and Bernalillo joined the New Mexico Economic Development Department to celebrate more than 100 new jobs around the county.

They say it’s a result of several growing small businesses.

“Some of the other companies that are expanding and growing here in the community. We are seeing a lot of growth, we are seeing a lot of development, and it’s very exciting times here in Sandoval County,” said Rio Rancho Mayor Gregg Hull.

Representatives from Jemez Pueblo, Corrales, and Pena Blanca say they’re welcoming about 10 new jobs in their respective areas. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
