6-year-old boy dead after South Carolina school shooting

TOWNVILLE, S.C. (KRQE) – South Carolina is mourning the loss of a 6-year-old boy who was wounded and died at the hospital after a teenager shot at a playground in Townville.

Jacob Hall’s mother posted an update on Facebook that said her little boy passed Saturday.

Jacob was one of two other victims hit during Wednesday’s shooting spree at the elementary school. Doctors released the other two victims, a teacher and another boy from the hospital Wednesday.

Investigators said the gunman, a 14-year-old, killed his father at his home before heading to the school.
