ALBUQUERQUE, N.M (KRQE) – One of the teens accused of the murder of an Albuquerque bartender faced a judge Friday for breaking the rules while awaiting trial.

KRQE News 13 showed you as 15-year-old Matthew Baldonado was taken into custody earlier this month for violating his curfew. The video showed he wasn’t at all cooperative.

Probation officers say Baldonado had been engaging in similar activity that got him into trouble last year when he and a group of teens allegedly shot and killed Steven Gerecke in his driveway after a night of “mobbing.”

The judge set a $10,000 cash only bond for Baldonado Friday. Baldonado has already paid $3,000 in bond, so he’ll have to come up with another $7,000 to get out.
