ABQ to Do: Globalquerque, a Giant Peach & Historic Stories

This weekend is a celebration of arts and culture – locally, internationally and there is even the opportunity to go inside a giant peach.

The ABQ to Do crew knows what’s shaking in the Albuquerque metro area.

Globalquerque 2016
Sept 23 & 24 – Happening at the National Hispanic Cultural Center, grounds open at 4:00 p.m. and performances start at 6:20 p.m.
Cost of admission runs between $16 – $69

James & The Giant Peach Jr
Sept 16 – 25 – Based on one of Ronald Dahl’s stories, this is a brand new take on a “masterpeach” of a tale. Showing at South Broadway Cultural Center
Admission is $10

East Mountain Celebration
September 25th Los Vencinos community Center, Tijeras – Honoring the Dog Head Fire Heroes. Live music, car show, jumpers, petting zoo and food trucks.
