A cold system will drop down toward New Mexico on Friday. The first impacts will be felt across the western portion of the state early Friday morning with a cold front. Temperatures will drop between 10° and 15° across the Four-Corners and we could even see some San Juan Mountain snow. As the front slides across the state during the day Friday, temperatures will drop in the metro area by 10°. While Saturday looks like a quiet day, Sunday gets interesting again. A piece of the storm system to our north will split off and drive over the state dragging in more cold air and the chance at some showers.
