Moisture will continue to flow into the state from the southwest fueling scattered afternoon storms across western and central New Mexico on Wednesday. Some scattered storms may well hold on into Thursday before a brief drying trend takes hold. By the weekend a sharply cooler storm system will close in on the state. The storm will bring colder air and the possibility of more showers.
