After a very busy Thursday, the week will end on a much quieter note. Drier air continues to work into the west, limiting storms there. However, the east will still have enough moisture to kick off a few showers and storms. Some could be on the strong side again this afternoon, mainly across the southeast.
The state continues to dry out over the weekend. Expect lots of sunshine and only a handful of storms, mainly across the east. Temperatures will also be near or just below average. More moisture will work into the state by the middle of next week, increasing the chance at showers and storms statewide.
