Storms continue in eastern New Mexico with some severe storms dumping large hail early on this evening. Central and western New Mexico will be dry with a pleasant evening ahead. Storms in the Eastern Plains will continue into the early evening hours before drier weather returns to start on Saturday morning. Drier air will work in from the west for central and western New Mexico over the weekend. This will keep the sunshine in place for Saturday and Sunday with slightly warmer temperatures over the next few days for Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Spot storms will still be possible in eastern New Mexico on Saturday with some that could be strong tomorrow afternoon.
