Highland High School students returning to class after evacuation

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Highland High School students are returning to class after an evacuation Thursday.

Albuquerque Public Schools officials say the evacuation was prompted by a suspicious package left on school property.

Albuquerque Police have completed their check of the package and found that there was no threat.

Further information about the incident have not been released.
