Out of this world playhouses auctioned off to end poverty

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Ten builders and 10 designers have partnered up to create an innovative playhouse and will soon be auctioned off for a great cause.

New Mexico Appleseed, a non-profit organization that aims to end poverty around the state, is hosting the Parade of Playhouse fundraising gala to help to support their cause.

New Mexico Appleseed Director of Developement, Sara Keller, joined KRQE’s This Morning team to talk about the gala. Watch above.

Playhouses are not the typical store bought playhouses, some are Pac-Man shaped and others have even been signed by Holly Holm.

These one of a kind playhouses will be auctioned off Friday, September 23 at the ABQ Bio Park.

The gala will begin at 5:30 p.m.
