Father: 15-year-old involved in murder fled to New Mexico

TUCUMCARI, N.M. (KRQE)- A Kentucky man says his 15-year-old daughter killed his wife then fled to New Mexico.

Police found Jenna Oakley in a motel in Tucumcari with her boyfriend, 20-year-old Kenneth Nigh, earlier this month.

Kentucky State Police started searching for Oakley after they discovered her stepmother’s body in her home.

Oakley’s father says although police haven’t charged them, he’s sure the two are involved and took the murdered woman’s car to run.

“I really don’t want to say anything to her. I don’t want to say anything to him. I hope they both rot in hell,” said Jenna’s father Phillip Oakley.

Tucumcari police arrested Nigh for contributing to the delinquency of a minor, but he bonded out of jail.

Phillip Oakley is now trying to raise enough money to get his wife’s car back home from New Mexico.
