On the cover, is none other than Cyndi Lauper and Ewers recounts what it was like to sit and interview with Lauper.

“It was nice to get to actually sit and interview her, and so this time we talked about her three decade music history what she thinks of the music scene now with the up-and-comers that are coming, and also the fact that she is this big-time artist, but she still has dreams and goals to fulfill as well,” says Ewers.

Another interesting thing is NM Entertainment Magazine is hitting the rinks locally with roller derby.

“One of our writers, Sonja – a wonderful writer – she is also a player. And if you haven’t experienced Albuquerque Roller Derby or roller derby in general, it’s amazing, an amazing time. And it’s a family-friendly event, even though it is a powerful force, and it’s something you can witness in Albuquerque. So she got to write about that.”

Albuquerque Roller Derby has a bout coming up on Oct. 15th at Expo New Mexico.

NM Entertainment Magazine also has an article featuring the upcoming unconventional tour of 19-year-old Sadie Robertson.

Most know her as one of the daughters of Duck Dynasty and from her time on ‘Dancing with the Stars’, but she is on tour trying to reach people in a more positive way – as a devout Christian. The ‘Live Original’ tour will be at Santa Ana Star Casino on Sept. 28.

Ghouls-on-Parade is the first ever trick or treat and Halloween parade in Nob Hill on Saturday, Oct. 28.
