Showers and storms will continue across the east through the afternoon and evening. Flash flooding concerns will persist across the southeast, particularly in Eddy and Lea counties. Albuquerque will continue to watch for the shot at a storm or two today.
High pressure will edge closer to the state from the east later this week. This will push storm chances to the western two thirds of the state. Temperatures will remain well below average through most of the week. However, a drying trend will take place over the weekend, allowing temperatures to warm to near normal for this time of year.
